This is a prescient reflection. The one aspect of intercommunion that is exciting is the possibility of reconciliation here. For me it’s far more concrete than the many other gestures toward reconciliation and repair.

I think so too! Given how much we emphasize the importance of liturgy for shaping theology...we've shared the same liturgy for hundreds of years!
